The Coomalie Community Government Council in conjunction with:

• Wagait Shire Council
• Belyuen Community Government Council
• Litchfield Shire Council

is undertaking, a series of public meetings and a survey to seek out the views of people who reside, own property or businesses in those areas not incorporated into Shires in the Top End.

Coomalie Community Government Council has engaged the services of local independent Consultants who are to discuss with each of the communities the issues and concerns regarding local government options.

The Public Meetings will be held in the locations and dates to the right.

The community consultations will be led by Sharyn Innes and Peter Shepherd, a team of local independent facilitators. They are interested to learn about the issues facing communities, how they want to be represented at the local level and the type of services they want to receive.
